Chris Huff plays guitar for the River Ranch Bluegrass Band, and does much of the vocal work. Chris has been a lifelong resident of Midland, Texas, where he manages his own oil and gas business. In addition to loving Bluegrass music, Chris is a petroleum engineer, and an avid pilot. He has also been known to add a spontaneous, off the wall blend of comedy to the act.
Oklahoma native Jeff Scroggins is a past national banjo champion, and provides the incredible hard-driving banjo work for The River Ranch Bluegrass Band. Now residing in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Jeff brings many years of experience in the Bluegrass music business, both here and abroad to the group.

Jeff took up banjo as a young Oklahoma teenager under the guidance of legendary banjo player Alan Munde. He continued to hone his craft until he became national banjo champion at the famous Winfield, Kansas bluegrass championships. Many people will also remember Jeff as a former member of the well known bluegrass group Big Twang, of which original Dixie Chick Robin Macy was also a member.
Attempting to describe
Wayne Moore's musical experience in a single, short paragraph, is much
like trying to condense a world atlas onto the back of a matchbook cover.
In the 1950's, Wayne spent time in Lubbock, Texas with Buddy Holly and the
group that would eventually become the Crickets. Those who know about
Bluegrass, and the influence that the late guitarist Clarence White had on
the music, will understand how significant it is that Wayne performed on
four Clarence White albums Wayne spent many years on the west coast
performing with Vern Gosden, Vince Gill, Buck Owens, The Castaways, and
the legendary group Nashville West. In addition to being

an
incredible musician, Wayne is a walking encyclopedia of old time Country,
Rock, and Bluegrass music. Wayne now resides in Rio Rancho, New
Mexico, where he still performs, and operates his own recording studio.
Seventeen year old Clayton
Burrows was born in Hobbs, NM, in April 1989. He got his first

lap steel, drums, and the mountain dulcimer. Clayton is state mandolin
champion in both New Mexico, and Arizona. He was also first runner
up state champion on guitar in both states. He will be competing for
the national championship on both instruments in Winfield, Kansas this
September. Clayton plays a variety of musical types and styles, but
his first love is Bluegrass, and his favorite instrument is the mandolin. Admission: $8.00 for ages 18 and up; $5.00 for ages 5 to 17; Free for ages 4 and under.
