Jeff Scroggins |
| Oklahoma native Jeff Scroggins is a past national banjo champion, and provides the incredible hard-driving banjo work for The River Ranch Bluegrass Band. Now residing in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Jeff brings many years of experience in the Bluegrass music business, both here and abroad to the group. Jeff took up banjo as a young Oklahoma teenager under the guidance of legendary banjo player Alan Munde. He continued to hone his craft until he became national banjo champion at the famous Winfield, Kansas bluegrass championships. Many people will also remember Jeff as a former member of the well known bluegrass group Big Twang, of which original Dixie Chick Robin Macy was also a member. |
