Clayton performs many types of music.  In this picture, he's seen performing bluegrass with past national champion banjo player Jeff Scroggins, legendary bass player / singer / song writer Wayne Moore, and bluegrass guitarist / vocalist Chris Huff.  On many occasions, Clayton has performed classical music with world renown classical guitarist, Susan Grissanti.

Clayton's first love is bluegrass music.  His favorite instrument is the mandolin.  However, he enjoys playing oldies rock and roll on his Fender Stratocaster, and plays blues, folk, country, and even a few jazzy numbers.  He currently teaches guitar, dulcimer, mandolin, and drums, and maintains an enrollment of about 20 students between the ages of 4 and 74.
