Aerosol Coating Products

..."Aerosol Coating Product” means a pressurized coating product containing pigments or resins that dispenses product ingredients by means of a propellant...

...“Propellant” means a liquefied or compressed gas that is used in whole or in part, such as a cosolvent, to expel a liquid or any other material from the same self-pressurized container or from a separate container.

The purpose of the above phrases is to show the relationship between coatings and paint.  When I first started studying the toxic waste flowing from GLCC-Central's Cylinder Prep Area of the Packaging and Shipping Department, I used the word "PAINT" to describe the "COATINGS" they use for painting the cylinders.  While typing this page, I became aware of the relationship between the word "enamel" and "resin."  Until now, I believed that the major source of resins in the Camp Pond were mainly from the adhesives in the buffing dust.
